Transcoding VHS in 'Song Sung Blue'

Song Sung Blue is a drama released in 2025 about a famous husband/wife who masterfully impersonated Neil Diamond while battling a series of medical issues.

A key scene involves watching a recording of Mike (Hugh Jackman) playing "Song Sung Blue" on a VHS, which the creatives required be filmed that way. Coordinating with our team at Company 3, production, and the post team, I managed to source a VHS player, record the VHS to digital, and transcode it to be used by editors, with very little down time between when they filmed it and when the editors received the footage.
